Here are the opening times until the end of 2011 for the new post office service in the gift shop, Next Door, in Askrigg’s Main Street. Steve Reynolds, postmaster at Hawes, four and half miles west of Askrigg, will have just four weeks holiday in the year. The post office offers a full range of services, despite being open for just six hours a week.
