We’ve just endured the harshest winter for around 40 years. yet despite the snow and ice a small army of around 20 distributors have been out and about in the community delivering the 600-plus copies of Oswald’s Outlook to neighbours and friends.

The vicar, Ann Chapman, thought it was time we said thank you to all of them.

“It’s easy to take people for granted and assume they are happy to go on doing what they’ve always done, especially in a voluntary organisation like the church. So from time to time we need to get together just to thank people for their efforts,” said Ann

So in February there was a get-together at Bottom Chapel for a light supper, a glass of wine, lots of conversation, and ideas for future issues. Thanks to all for coming, to all who couldn’t make it, and to those who’ve done the work in the past but had to give up for one reason or another.
