JUBILEE MEETING
The final meeting of Askrigg’s Jubilee planning group will be at 7pm on Tuesday, May 29, in the back room of the village hall. It’s an open meeting so anyone can come. For the full programme of Jubilee events click here.
SUN SHINES ON SCHOOL FETE

Askrigg School’s fete brought out the sunshine and the best of the village talent in a glorious afternoon’s entertainment. Art and cake-making competitions, tombolas and raffles, cream teas and home-made jams, country-dancing and traditional crafts made it a day to remember and boosted the school fund: all on the hottest and sunniest day of the summer so far.
