ST OSWALD’S is the parish church of Askrigg, the village in the very heart of the Yorkshire Dales which doubled as the fictional Darrowby in the BBC Television series All Creatures Great and Small. Oswald’s Outlook is the newsletter of the church and the community and this site is designed to complement it. Here you can find news of the village and church events – often one and the same thing – details of the services the village has to offer; shops, a post office, cafes and gift shops; personality profiles and archives of past issues. Askrigg is a vibrant place with lots going on. The website is being developed daily so why not subscribe to keep up-to-date with what’s happening?
